Thursday, September 16 
(Opening Day)

2 to 3 PM – 9th Annual Cannoli Eating Competition

The Performance Stage at the northwest corner of Grand and Mott Streets will be the site of this eating competition, sanctioned by The International Federation of Competitive Eaters, to determine who can eat the most cannoli within a given six-minute period? The winner will receive a Championship Belt and will be recognized as The World’s Champion Cannoli Eater. Trophies will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd Place finishers.

6 to 7 PM - Blessing of the Stands

Father Fabian Grifone, pastor of Most Precious Blood Church, and other parish priests will walk through the streets of the Feast blessing all the restaurants, cafes, shops and vendors so that they will all have a successful Feast.

Parades/Processions

There will be two Parades this year, each featuring the Statue of San Gennaro. Every Parade will begin on Mulberry Street between Canal and Bayard Streets (One block south of Canal Street), and will proceed north along Mulberry Street to Houston Street, east along Houston for one block to Mott Street, south on Mott to Grand Street, and west on Grand to Baxter Street.

Sunday, September 19  
(The Official Feast Day)
3 PM -- A Celebratory High Mass in honor of San Gennaro,led by Father Fabian Grifone, pastor of Most Precious Blood Church
 
4 PM -- A Religious Procession in which the Statue of San Gennaro is carried through the streets of the Feast.

Saturday, September 25
(Grand Procession)

2PM -- A colorful parade with floats, marching bands,
musical entertainers and the Statue of San Gennaro through
the streets of Little Italy. The honorary Grand Marshal is New York Knicks’
Italian-born star Danilo Gallinari.
