The 86th Annual Feast of San Gennaro will feature live musical entertainment, food and cooking demonstrations and food eating competitions during its 11 day run which begins on Thursday, September 13, and co ntinues for 11 days through Sunday, September 23, 2012.
There will be musical entertainment to satisfy all tastes, ranging from Italian folk songs and opera, to rock ‘n roll and doo wop to old standards. There will also be live radio broadcasts from this stage during the feast.
Performance times will be scheduled on the stage as follows: Mondays through Thursdays, 5:30 to 9:30 PM; Fridays, 5:30 to 10:00 PM; Saturdays, 12 Noon to 10 PM; and Sundays, 12 Noon to 9:30 PM.
The performances and demonstrations will be held on the Feast Performance Stage that will be located at the intersection of Grand and Mott Streets in the heart of Little Italy. |
